Sound clips of products from Fret City Music inventory.
This page has actual sound clips for many of the products sold at Fret City Music. The files were recorded in our studio using a Shure KSM-27 Condenser Studio Microphone. Electric Guitars were recorded using a Roland Cube 30 transistor amp. Guitar settings were all center-toggled at full volume and full treble. No post-recording sweetening was performed so we feel this is a very accurate representation of the instruments' sound. In some cases we've added samples with both "clean" and "distorted" settings. Basses were recorded using an Eden WT-550 Amp with an Eden XLT-210 cabinet. Please keep in mind by changing the settings and effects you can get a wider range of sounds than demonstrated. These samples are only intended to give you an idea of the instruments' basic tonal qualities. For comparison purposes we have also sampled our test Gibson USA Les Paul Studio SN# 00614431 (see bottom of sampling list).
